How does Frolic Cafe decaffeinate their decaffeinated coffee?
We use the Swiss Water Process, pioneered in Switzerland in the 1930s. It’s a taste-driven, one hundred percent chemical-free process that preserves the coffee’s natural flavour. Unlike most of the world’s coffee, which is decaffeinated using the solvents methylene chloride and ethyl acetate, our decaf is good for the environment and good for your health.

Why does Frolic Cafe use Melba Espresso?
Melba Espresso only uses the world’s best 100% Arabica Beans. For Café Melba only the best would do, and the "Melba Blend" is just that. It's a stunning blend, combining the best of the smooth and sweet South American bean with a touch of the aromatic Caribbean, producing a thick, full bodied cup of coffee. And it’s proudly roasted in New Zealand.
